The scorecard, which measures employee performance over time, was previously a proprietary tool taught by EOS implementers and is now available for public use and download via their blog. Unlike other organizational metric systems, which retroactively measure statistics that are in the past and unactionable, the EOS Worldwide scorecard is forward-looking, and focused on real activity, short-term goals, and desired outcomes. It allows for more clarity regarding points of improvement and bottlenecks in a process, and simplifies communications from management about expectations. As a result, issues can be fixed mid-quarter, not after a quarter ends and opportunities are missed.
