As we pass the halfway point of the year, it’s vital to make sure everything is on track and that you’re well positioned to finish the year strong. Please do a detailed review of your annual goals (ideally with your leadership team) to make sure all of your goals are on track and at least 50 percent complete.
In this Clarity Break, I’d like to give you two short and sweet high-impact tools to help you finish the year strong.
And now, on to the tools:
Tool #1 – Compartmentalizing. This first tool will help you manage all of your “stuff” and help you get more done in less time. If you’re normal, you’re wrestling with 136 things (aka “stuff”). By compartmentalizing all of that “stuff,” you’ll actually free up energy and time for yourself, your team and your company while maximizing your efficiency and productivity, therefore finishing the year strong (and every year after, for that matter).
Please watch this three-minute video to understand and implement this simple and powerful concept.
I urge you in your next Clarity Break to confirm that you have all of your “stuff” in the right compartments. By doing so, you and your organization will get more done this year.
Tool #2 – The Organizational Checkup. To make sure you’re firing on all cylinders to finish the year strong, in your next Clarity Break please fill out the organizational checkup to confirm that you score an 80 or better. If you score anything less, your business is not operating at its full potential.
Stay Focused,
- Gino
