"You Can't Build a Great Company on Multiple Operating Systems---You Must Choose One"

I recently had an epiphany (if this can be called that) after teaching Scorecard for the last 13 years to over 125 companies, running my last two businesses on one, and teaching it to our 58 EOS Implementers and thousands of companies indirectly.

Not to get all “kumbaya” on you here, but did you know that when your vision is clear to all of your people, everyone is rowing in the same direction, and their energy is all going in one direction, universal laws kick in that we can’t explain and you get to where you want to go faster? Things fall into place, and synchronicity happens.

At our last quarterly meeting with our team of EOS Implementers, my partner, Don Tinney, shared a very inspirational message about mastery. He shared a quote from a very powerful documentary, Jiro Dreams of Sushi.

As a leader, you must be a good communicator. There is a simple discipline that doesn’t require any time, investment, or learning on your part, and it will help you become a great communicator. In addition, it will help you avoid what one client calls “Thump, Thump.”
