One of the long term goals for all of our EOS clients is to decide when and how they are going to document their core processes, necessary for scaling their business profitably. There are only 8-12 core processes for most companies. They include processes for functions like HR, Marketing, Sales, Operations (there may be a few here – documenting how you deliver your goods or services), Finance, and Customer Satisfaction.

Every company running their company on EOS has a weekly leadership team meeting. We call it the executive Level 10 meeting, or L10, meeting. It is on the same day, at the same time, has the same agenda, and it starts on time and ends on time. All five of these characteristics are equally important.

Earlier this Fall, I went up to Green Bay, WI to see the Bears play the Packers on a Monday night. My son and I made the trip with my wife’s brother and his son, who live in the LA area but somehow are huge Packers fans. Time for a Clarity Break? Take Some Starbucks Time

I sent a number of my business partners a $25 Starbucks Gift Cards early in December for the holidays. My intent was to thank them for supporting me in 2013 with an eye to a bigger future in 2014. I added a note to the card, asking if it was "Time for a clarity break?" I figured if it was "time," a little Starbucks might just do the trick.
