Preparing Your Team to Understand EOS®

Written by EOS Worldwide on September 25, 2017

Earlier this month we released the latest book in our Traction Library: What the Heck is EOS?  We’re truly excited about this book because it answers many of the key questions that we’ve heard over the years from employees in companies implementing EOS.

Questions like:

  • What is an operating system?
  • What is EOS and why is my company using it?
  • What are the EOS foundational tools and how do they impact me?
  • What’s in it for me?

After reading this book, employees will not only have a better understanding of EOS but they will be more engaged, taking an active role in helping achieve your company’s vision. We also recommend that you and your leadership team read these four blog posts to help you explain key concepts to your team as you implement EOS throughout your organization.

However, in our experience, most companies fail at pushing the Level 10 Meeting Agenda down to the rest of the organization. Employees are still stuck in meetings that suck – and this is sucking the life out of your company.

Written by Mike Paton on May 25, 2017

When a leadership team embarks on the journey to implement EOS® in their business, one of the first things they learn to do is run weekly Level 10 Meetings™. While some teams resist, most come to love them quite quickly. It’s not unusual for a team to see the quality and value of their meetings improve dramatically in a few short weeks.

After the leadership team masters this discipline, Level 10 Meetings are introduced throughout the company, one level at a time. That’s when I start getting one of the most common EOS questions:

“How can I make my people more engaged in our meetings?”

How to Complete 100% of Your Team's Weekly To Dos Every Time

Written by Mike Kotsis on March 13, 2017

Are you frustrated that everything isn't getting done from one meeting to the next? You’re not alone! Many of my client leadership teams have expressed similar frustrations over the last year. Frustrations were cropping up in two main areas that had a low completion percentage:

  • Rocks – the priorities that people committed to over the last 90 days
  • To Dos – 7-day action items that come out of weekly meetings

Teams were only seeing completion rates of 40-50% of their To Dos, but they drastically increased their weekly completion percentage to 90%+ consistently.

Want to see your team's completion rate skyrocket like that? Here are 7 steps to getting all of your team's To Dos done every week.
